In 1949 the Corbetta family discovered a tranquil plot of land on Miller Lake and began to build a family summer getaway. In the first few years this property was mainly used by family and friends as a private summer retreat. One small cottage was built by the water, then another….Soon passers-by were welcomed to stay and thus sparked the beginnings of a summer camping and cabin resort. 

Although our park has grown considerably over the years we still feel strongly about maintaining simple family values and a sense of community at our resort. We welcome you to stay with us at what once was our very own family getaway. Since the beginning, many families have chosen Summer House Park as their annual summer destination from generation to generation. It is our wish that when you stay with us you feel like part of our extended family.
