Camp and Create Fall Workshop Series Weclome to the Summer House Park 'Camp & Create' workshop series! FALL 2017 WORKSHOPS 1) PAINTING ON BIRCH BARK WORKSHOP - September 16, 2017 - 6 pm $40 per person Don't miss Kelly's popular Eco-Art Camp - this fall, for adults! Kelly Fletcher loves to create one of a kind art using natural materials found in our own environment. Although not a common material for artwork, painting on on bright white birch bark with acrylic makes for a very interesting combination. Join Kelly as she guides you, step-by-step, from blank canvas to a final unique materpiece in about two hours. Come as you are, with art skills or without. All you need is the desire to create! This class is designed for beginners who have little experience in stained glass art or for those that wish to refresh their skills. A selection of patterns will be available for you to choose from- you choose your colours to show your creative expression! Stained Glass Workshop- May 12, 2018: Make your very own stained glass piece with the guidance of both Sheila and Jane. Class suitable for beginners or those who wish to continue their learning and refresh their skills, perhaps from the fall 2017 workshop! SmartPhone-ography- date TBA: Learn how to capture the perfect photo with the camera you always have by your side, your smart phone! Led by renouned photographer Willy Waterton Designing a Butterfly Garden- date TBA: Learn how to design a backyard garden with everything you need to attract and support the Monarch butterfly and other pollinators. Led by Audrey Armstrong Fabric Sculpture- Paverpol Workshop- date TBA: Paverpol is a medium which hardens fabric allowing you to mold and maintain fabric in a specific shape. Join Tamara Reich as she guides you through this wonderful art form. Design a one-of-a-kind sculpture that captures your unique artistic expression!
