Fathom Five National Marine Park & Boat Tours

Exploring the waters that border the Peninsula or the many inland lakes and riverways is a must. Take a scenic glass-bottom boat trip out to Flowerpot Island, join a dive charter to discover our local marine heritage and numerous shipwrecks from days gone by, perhaps grab a fishing rod and test your luck in the big waters or right here on the inland waters of Miller Lake. There's plenty to do for the 'fish' in you!

Fathom Five National Marine Park is the first underwater marine park in Canada as well as Canada's first National Marine Conservation Area. This park encompasses the islands and waters off the tip of the Bruce Peninsula and includes the iconic Flowerpot Island as well as 22 shipwrecks and intreaging underwater geological features.  Explore the links below to find out ways to discover this national treasure and other 'wet wonders' of Bruce Peninsula.

1. Take a glass bottom boat tour of Fathom Five National Marine Park: Blue Heron Company

2. Enjoy a dinner cruise on the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island.

3. Join a SCUBA diving charter in Tobermory to explore amazingly preserved shipwrecks and underwater geological features.

4. Rent a kayak and paddle around the tip of the Peninsula or explore further south: Suntrail Outfitters Source for Sports; Thorncrest Outfitters

5. Discover the Parks Canada Visitors Centre or St. Edmund's Museum and learn about our rich marine heritage.

6. Explore the area's historic lightstations on Flowerpot Island, in Tobermory, Cabot Head, Lion's Head and more.
