Show your Canadian spirit during our Canada Day weekend events! Each year we have a variety of events scheduled for the Canada Day Long weekend. From special scavenger hunts and games for the kids, trailer decorating contests and our annual hospital fundraiser BBQ, you are sure to enjoy a little Canadian spirit this long weekend.
Canada Weekend Highlights at a Glance
Throughout the Weekend: Decorate your campsite to show off a lot of red and white! Register your site for your chance to win the "Bragging Rights to Ride" contest. Anyone who registers for the Campsite Decorating Contest will be entered into a draw. The winners will have the chance to ride on the Canada Day wagon in our Saturday parade.
Friday July 1:
Yoga on the Beach
Maple Leaf Scavenger Hunt followed by a Canada Day treat you won't want to miss!
Family Campfire
Saturday July 2:
- Family Carnival & Parade. Come out for some fun carnival games with the whole family and join in a parade around the park. Bring your decorated bikes, pets, and wear your red and white. Winners of the Campsite Decorating Draw will have the chance to sit in style on the wagon during the parade!
- Cotton Candy Fundraiser - bring a toonie to support our local hospital and enjoy a sweet treat at the carnival.
- Family Games Night
Sunday July 3:
- Kid's Canada Craft
- HOSPITAL BBQ FUNDRAISER AT THE BEACH Come out to support our local hospital down at the beach for hot dogs and sausages.
- Movie Night at the Rec. Hall
